Multisite Angiomatosis of the Female Genital Tract: Uncovering a Rare Cause of Refractory Menorrhagia

Abstract

Angiomatosis of the female genital tract is an extremely rare benign vascular malformation that can mimic common gynecologic conditions or malignancy due to nonspecific clinical and imaging features. We report a 36-year-old woman with intractable menorrhagia unresponsive to medical therapy. Hysterectomy revealed multisite angiomatosis involving the uterus, cervix, Fallopian tube, and ovary, confirmed histopathologically.
